An Anniversary of Sorts

Exactly one year ago today our nation had just elected its first black president, the weather was unseasonably warm, and I was taking my first ambulance ride to the hospital. Little did I know that exactly five weeks of painstakingly boring bed rest from that day, Caleb and I would become parents to a healthy, adorable, perfect little boy. And in remembrance of last year's run-in with bed rest, I think I should spend the day on the couch reading magazines and watching movies to pass the time...
