Break time.

Because when my little princess demands snuggle time, I listen.
Who really wants to clean the basement anyways?!

It's the little things.

When asked about his school day, Mason said that he got to move seats. And then he continued by saying that's one of his favorite things because it gives him goosebumps and makes his "mind feel happy." How sweet is that connection?!

Joke.

Yesterday was joke day in Mason's class. And, oh boy, this was the joke he pulled from his arsenal:

Knock, knock.
Who's there?
Smell mop.
Smell mop, who?
Eww, gross. I don't want to smell your poo.

Say it out loud. Laugh. And then blush a little for me as my kids have serious "bathroom" humor...

Poor little ladybug.

Camryn spent a good amount of time trying to help this little bug find her momma. Sweet idea. But, oh my, many bad things happened to miss ladybug during the execution of this mission...

One-on-one time.

Loving the precious little time that me and my girl get to hang out sans boys. Note: The coke was mostly gone by the time I surrendered the cup...

Fire!

A Sunday bonfire at my parents' house. Several years in the making!
Holy smokes!!!!

Lazy Girl's Guide to Licking Beaters

Today we learned that the only way this girl will eat potatoes is when they are stuck to beaters... And attached to the machine.

Hooray for spring!

Today was the day I have looked forward to since October. Bring on the warm!
We spent our after-dinner time checking out a new-to-us park complete with a "beach," seesaws, and a mountain of a hill--which was a blast to run and roll down, but not so much to run up...
Not pictured: Jacob. Darn football practice got in the way of fun.

Yes, they can.

Turns out it is possible for my kids to be in this close proximity without physically trying to kill one another. Best buds? For a solid two minutes...

Spring Break happened.

The kids spent a few days at the greatest place on Earth: Grandma's house! And Caleb and I spent a few days alone in our quiet, clean house. Just the break we all needed!
I don't have many details, but from the looks of it, lots of fun things happened!
