Just as the "suck, swallow, breathe" reflex is automatic in babies, so too is the "hold out pumpkin, collect candy" reflex. Jacob only needed one quick run through of the routine before he had it down pat. And even today, he repeated his "trick treat" script as he walked up to our own front door after getting the mail with Caleb. Too funny.
What's funnier is that he LOVED his monkey suit. Alot. So much, in fact, that he refused to take it off the other day, which meant running errands in his costume. And I can't think of anything cuter than a pint-sized monkey weaving through the aisles of Target chanting "ooh, ooh, aah, ahh." Freaking adorable. We may just have to bust out the costume at a later date for a re-enactment. He's young enough to get away with wearing a Halloween costume in February, right?!
